Richard Lane initially qualified with a diploma of remedial massage at the Australasian College of Natural Therapies in Sydney in 2001 and he has been practising continuously since this time. Since qualification, he provided remedial massage services from a clinic in Maroubra until 2007.
Subsequently he has been solely offering mobile massage to the Inner West and Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and is available for home massage 7 days a week during the day/evenings.Whilst he is registered with health funds as a provider of remedial massage, unfortunately rebates are generally not available for home massages (unless you are with NIB, Australian Unity or CBHS).

If you are suffering from aches, pains, stiffness or headaches caused by muscular tension then remedial massage can help. In Sydney Remedial massage can be considered as a generic phrase as there is not one specific type of remedial massage and any massage that provides "remedy" for the ailment can be considered to be a remedial massage.

Most of my bodywork is remedial, sports, deep tissue, pregnancy or Swedish/relaxation massage with occasional Heartworks Lomi Lomi. I don't provide Kahuna, Thai, reflexology or Shiatsu. Yes, I have trained in remedial, Swedish, sports, deep tissue and pregnancy massage from various Sydney massage schools and I am registered with a professional association.

I was searching online for a massage therapist as I was experiencing a lot of neck pain due to an injury. I booked online on Sunday morning and Richard was at my house 5.30 in the afternoon on the same day. Richard was on time, professional and the massage helped alleviate considerable amount of pain which meant I got a good nights sleep. I would highly recommend Richard and will definitely book again.

Richard is an incredible masseuse whom I first met at a time after a road accident when I was vulnerable. He made me feel safe inviting a then stranger to my home. His professionalism is exceptional and his massage skills are wonderful! He helped me immensely! The benefits of a home massage are that I can book a massage then relax straight after and draw out the benefits! Plus I get to choose the music!!

I discovered Richard's mobile service in August 2012, when I was looking for a remedial massage therapist after experiencing long term back pain. The added bonus of someone coming to my home was that I could save time in travel, but even more importantly get lasting benefits from the treatment, relaxed at home rather than getting back in to my car and driving through Sydney traffic.

About 2 years ago I moved to Sydney and was struggling to find a good massage therapist. A friend recommended Richard and he's been my therapist ever since. He is a fantastic MT, with the knowledge and versatility to address whatever concerns I'm having. Whether it's an injury due to training or a preventative massage, he can deliver on what's needed. The added bonus is that he is mobile and will come right to your home. This for me is amazing, as it's a time saver and also a more relaxing experience. I would definitely recommend Richard for any MT needs.
