The child is aged between 2 - 17 years for at least one day on the calendar year of the dental services provided. At Centre for Dental Excellence, we participate in the CDBS. If your child is eligible and there are funds available, they can access a wide range of services including: examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions.
A crown, sometimes referred to as a 'cap', is a tooth-like restoration that fits over the existing natural tooth to restore function, contour, appearance, as well as to strengthen a damaged tooth. This includes teeth that have been chipped or damaged due to trauma, teeth that have been weakened by severe tooth decay, teeth with old restorations that may have become defective and teeth that have undergone root canal treatment.
Composite resin has a number of different purposes in dentistry. When it is used to restore a tooth with decay it is known as a composite resin restoration and when it is used to repair minor breaks, cracks, chips or other irregularities it is known as bonding. Composite resin are unlike amalgam (silver) restorations and are made of a coloured plastic mixture with glass particles.

My review is more than fair. I was spoken to abruptly and quickly dismissed,even though I had an emergency. Nothing helpful whatsoever was offered. You are a dental practice,obviously you regularly deal with emergencies. Clearly you need to make more space for the patients who need it the most. I gave two stars because I am sympathetic that things can be difficult when it is very busy,otherwise I would have given 1 star!

Dr Chua is so gentle and thorough with his work - he explains exactly what is going on, what he is going to do and why and even gives you a forewarning of the procedure costs (very much appreciated for a student such as myself)!
I had been going to the dental clinic my family has always gone to but after a few bad experiences I opted to try another one and I was not disappointed.

Dr Chua was amazing and communicated the status of every single tooth of mine during the consultation. I left smiling after an in-depth cleaning knowing that all my little teeth are doing well. What an awesome professional! I left the clinic happy and confident in life because I don't have to see a dentist other than for a clean, for a while. I can feel his care and concern for my long term oral health, and confidently place myself in his care. I don't like going to the dentist but I will definitely go to consult Dr Chua. The best dental treatment with professional care and education about dental care while sitting on the dentist chair. Dr William Chua didn't just treat our teeth but educated us on a whole range of medical issues related to dental care. Excellent service. If you haven't got a dentist or are afraid of visiting a dentist, I fully recommend going to him.
