IQ testing provides information about an individual's cognitive abilities. Cognitive assessment compares an individual to other people his age to determine if the person has an intellectual disability or is gifted. They also provide information about an individual's pattern of learning.

This information can be very helpful to plan educational programs or to determine eligibility for special program such as early entry to school, acceleration or remedial programs.Wendy McLean uses two widely accepted cognitive assessment tests: The Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scales Fifth Edition and the Woodcock-Johnson Third Edition Tests of Cognitive Abilities.
Wendy provides professional consultation services for psychologists, educators and health care workers. Professional supervision is provided in group and individual formats. Supervision involves critical reflection on a group or individual's own psychological practice. This often includes discussion of specific cases, ethical concerns or work practices.
Counselling sessions generally last about one hour and will usually cost $210, considerably less than The Australian Psychological Society's recommended fee of $246 for a one hour session. Fees are payable at the time of consultation and can be paid with cash or by electronic transfer using Visa, Mastercard or Bankcard.
We are currently offering several of our professional psychology rooms for part time rent. These rooms would be perfect for any mental health practitioner who needs to see several clients a week, but who does not yet have the client flow or time to open their own full time office. Our practice has been designed and fitted out to offer the very best in psychological services for both patients and staff.
