I was very happy with the service that Jordan Lawyers provided with the settlement of my grandmothers estate dealing with myself, sister and hostile brother. UNTIL I've gone to purchase a house with my wife and put in her name to avoid stamp duty. But there is NO exemption when you are married even if in one persons name. They were great in handling the sale of the property but never made me aware that if I had the house in my name ( which I never wanted ) I would never be able to have stamp duty concessions made. Now due to this oversight from people who's job it is to inform you of possible outcomes

Unreliable, suggest trying another firm. Sent them a conveyancing contract for review 2 weeks prior to an auction. Followed up several times by phone and was assured timely advice would be provided. Then received an email midday the day prior to auction saying no advice would be provided without meeting in person. Would have been happy to do so except (1) it was left far too late and (2) no one answers the phone so it's impossible to make an appointment.
