From the 12 month visit right through to 18 years of age, the first visit is critical. We pride ourselves on being sensitive to the various temperaments and developmental stages of children. Going at the child's pace helps us build a great rapport and results in a child who looks forward to their visits.
What sets our team apart, you may ask? A lot. We've undertaken extra training. We use specialist techniques and equipment. And we diagnose and treat child-specific conditions. Because for us, it's all about the kids - and giving them the special care and support they need. Sudden toothache, chipped or broken tooth? The team at Norwest is here for you and your child. And there's no need to get a referral first. We'll diagnose and treat the issue immediately - while giving your child the special care they need. We also have access to a range of safe pain management techniques and can even organise a day-stay with general anaesthesia if required.
As paediatric specialists, we're well placed to diagnose and treat a wide range dental conditions in children. We also have the training and skillset to treat very young children and children with additional needs. Many parents worry that their baby or toddler is not old enough to see a dentist and will not want us to look at their teeth.

Amazing team of professionals! My son is on the spectrum and has had some difficult dental issues which were resolved with genuine care and always with his needs in mind. We have been seeing the team for more than 7 years now and my son has never had any issues or concerns seeing ‘the dentist’. We couldn’t be happier!

We cannot fault the service at Norwest Paediatric Dentistry. All the staff, including admin, dentists and assistants, are all so warm and friendly, and make my kids feel comfortable and even enjoy their visit to the dentist. We have met several dentists over the years with my 3 kids, and all of them are amazing.

Great, gentle dentist for young kids. I started taking both my kids when they turned 2 to get them used to the dentist. Can highly recommend this dentistry. Even when my 3 and a half year old had to get a tooth out (under general anaesthesia), he was given a beautiful teddy and a certificate for being so brave. Going to the dentist is not a chore in our household. Dentist Jackie, dentist Lia and dentist Sylvia are amazing.

Prior to coming to Norwest Paediatric Dentistry, I could never have imagined that children could LOVE and LOOK FORWARD to going to the dentist! But that's what has happened to us. I now understand that a paediatric dentist offers so much more than a normal dentist for children, even more than extra- kind normal dentists. The resources, experience of the staff, the child-centred practice and additional training add so much value - the kids are not only relaxed and happy, but they're so well educated and better enabled to take charge of their own dental hygiene. This also makes life so much easier

Called to book an appointment for my 6 years old who is in pain as the initial treatment with another dentist did not work and the other dentist suggested this place to see my child for the worsening situation. They requested a referral and that they will chase his images from the previous dental clinic and will call to book an appointment based on the assessment. After few days with no call back , I did a phone call to follow up and they answered that they will call soon which did not happen until after 4 weeks from requesting the appointment. My children have both been to Norwest Paediatric Dentistry and absolutely love the staff. They are friendly and very professional. My 2 year old recently needed some dental work done under general anaesthetic. This caused great anxiety for me however I knew she was in really safe hands. I would highly recommend Norwest Paediatric Dentistry to anyone. If I could give 10 stars I would!
