Hallweld Bennett Pty Ltd commenced operation for designing access systems & access equipment in 1987 following the merger of two well known businesses which had been active in the engineering industry for many years.
Hallweld Engineers, which was started by Alfred Hall in 1905 supplying goods to the mines in Broken Hill, grew over the years and, through an innovative approach to business and technology, became one of the pioneers of Electric Arc Welding in Australia.The company designed and manufactured its own machinery for the production of reinforcing mesh, sheep fencing and chain wire mesh.

Hallweld Bennett's Titan Access and Safety Systems division specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and certification of Access Safety Systems to meet our clients needs in the workplace in conforming to Australian Standards AS1657 and AS/NZS1891 as well as the Occupational Health and Welfare Act and Regulations.
Titan Access and Safety Systems products for protection on the ground include handrails, safety bollards, drain covers, and guardrails. A heavy duty handrail and guardrail system protecting personnel and property from vehicular traffic, available in galvanised steel or a painted finish. Handrails can be supplied as a single rail, standard two rail or balustrade system.
Hallweld Bennett's vertical access equipment includes stairs, gates and industrial ladder systems. Our stairs are designed and manufactured in order to provide economical and aesthetically pleasing solutions. Our stairs are offered utilizing a variety of handrail components and stair treads from the SureGrate and SureTread range.
Hallweld Bennett's horizontal access equipment includes roof walkway systems for standard and sloping installations, platforms, walkways, aluminium walkway systems and sunscreens. The complete roof access system designed in accordance with AS1657. Safe, flexible and versatile. The roof safety system is designed to suit all roofing materials and profiles and is easy to install.
