As a wedding photographer I feel like I am really lucky to have so many stunning locations to shoot weddings at, whether I find myself in the Hunter Valley, Newcastle or Sydney.

Hi! I'm Amye (the lady hiding behind the camera) and yes my name is really spelled like that. I won't hold it against you if you do spell it the normal ordinary way of just plain old Amy. Over the years I have learnt to just deal with it and get used to the fact that my parents decided to torture me with the spelling of my name for the rest of my life.

This is why every couple I have the privilege of working with receives a custom designed, Fine Art Album as a way to display your memories and allow you to look back and reconnect with the moments and feelings of the day.

Hiring Amye was the best investment we made for our wedding day. Our family and bridal party made so many comments about how professional and organised she was, whilst also helping us all to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Amye truly went above and beyond for us, making sure we were able to capture all the different photos we wanted.
I'm based in the beautiful Port Stephens (next door to The Hunter Valley). You will find me shooting weddings regularly around Nelson Bay, Newcastle and amongst the vines of The Hunter Valley. I am even down south in Sydney & Wollongong/Illawarra regions regularly as I have spent half of my life down in Sydney.

Where to begin with our experience with Amye!? She took on our wedding relatively late in the piece, as our original wedding was postponed twice due to Covid in 2020, and our original photographer could not capture our new date. She did her best to offer us exactly what we had booked with our original photographer in terms of hours/album,pricing etc, actually going above and beyond to accommodate us during such a difficult time for Cam and I. She made the stress of finding a new photographer last minute so easy!

Our photographer, my cousin, had to pull out 5 weeks before our wedding due to illness. Amye was recommended to us by our celebrant and from the minute we looked at her website we were crossing our fingers that she would be available. Thankfully for us she had a wedding on the Friday out of town, therefore had kept the Saturday free and she agreed to do the job.

Words can't really describe how amazing Amye is as a photographer. Amye is such a relaxed person who captures your special day as if she was telling a story. I first met Amye when I was a single mother of a beautiful 3 year old. She has captured our special moments ever since, Engagment/Wedding, Maternity and a Newborn/Family shoot. Amye has always gone above and beyond to make our photoshoots run as smooth as possible. Our photo's are really what shows how amazing she is.

Amye was extremely professional and made us comfortable. She managed to capture the perfect amount of staged and candid photos and even included some with all the kids running around that sum up our family perfectly. We have a large family who are not into standing around for hours. Amye made it look easy and remained relaxed. Recommend her any day !

My fiance and I with our dog, had our engagement photoshoot with Amye and it was amazing. We were a bit nervous not ever having our photos done before but she made the whole experience really comfortable and fun. She was really helpful with finding good photo spots with places that were also dog friendly. The photos came out beautifully even with the rainy and windy weather. Highly reccommend!
