Coolum Beach Hotel is a versatile function and event space, with spaces able to cater anywhere from 40 to 100 guests. We specialise in private and corporate events, everything from conferences, birthdays, engagements or wedding receptions. We're able to tailor our rooms and event experiences to what you need, with cocktail, conferencing or seated menus.
Here at Coolum Beach Hotel our Gaming room features 45 of the latest gaming machines, Keno terminal, and link jackpots including the latest Lightning Link, Dragon Link, Lock-it Link, Jackpot Carnival and Fastlane machines. We have Ticket in Ticket Out system operation on our machines allowing you to move quickly and easily between machines.
We strive to be at the heart of our local community by providing a place for friends to meet, for families to relax and to host local functions and events. We are the unofficial 'clubhouse' for a number of local sporting teams - a place to re-convene after matches, sell raffle tickets, celebrate victories and commiserate losses.

The elderly blonde matre d’ was extremely rude and made us feel unwelcome. We stood waiting at the “wait to be seated” sign and watched as she turned around, looked at us, stapled some blank sheets of paper then turned back away from us and started texting someone on her phone. We eventually were welcomed in by a man from the kitchen and the food we had was great.

Went to the Hotel for dinner on Xmas Eve (last minute decision). Very disappointed in the meals. 2 ordered steak & I ordered salt & pepper calamari - chips on all plates were cold and the steaks underdone, salads very dry as the salad dressing was limited to about a teaspoon (being generous here).
The calamari was cold, rubbery and very salty. Would we come back for a meal - probably not in that much of a hurry to do that. Will need to find another local.

Top spot, huge restaurant eating area. The outside area was hosting a large event with 50+ people on our occasion, but plenty of seating so unlikely to struggle for dinner for two.
Service was very friendly and the food came out at a great pace, despite how busy the kitchen must have been.
Food was top notch and absolutely huge, couldn’t finish our meals, especially with the sizeable entrees that we tacked on.
Great atmosphere and absolutely huge with a sports bar, regular bar and others on top.
Great for families and reasonably priced.

Yesterday I celebrated my 81st birthday , with my friend Peter.
I must say the service by JELYNA at the counter was exemplary.
Such a happy disposition, very accommodating attitude and general radiating of warmth,she made our meal( along with older lady giving instructions,and a free magnificent sticky date pudding for desert). UNFORGETTABLE. THANK YOU
In all I want to give 10 stars to Coolum pub.

Had Christmas lunch 2019 ,2020 ,and enjoyed so much we've booked again for this Christmas. Great friendly atmosphere, has a real family vibe, which we've missed so much because family all back in N.Z. Vickie is just the best hostess and is so helpful and courteous. Well done to the staff overall and we're so looking forward to being with you again 25th December.

Walked in, floor was filthy, wondered what had happened, just seemed dirty, no toilet paper in the toilet, patrons were all loud grubs, felt like they wanted to start a fight, told us to go home cause we weren't locals. just didn't feel welcome. cocktail was really nice though and great price. won't be back.

All of our meals were very well sized. Every one of us enjoyed our menu choice and noted how tasty it was. The cheesy garlic bread was devine as were the wings. Next time I am definitely ordering the salt and pepper calamari as the guest at our table got a very ample serving. The best sized serving in twenty years of any restaurant we have visited on the coast. I tasted one piece and it was cooked perfectly. Compliments to the chef!
