Boustead and Brown designs and makes every piece of furniture with timber movement in mind so that each timber joint is made to last. Every joint is hand-fitted for a snug fit by a skilled woodworker and craftsmen so that we can guarantee it will last the test of time. Here at Boustead and Brown, we use this joint greatly in draw and solid timber cabinet construction.
As furniture makers, we are accustomed to many different types of finishes for furniture we make. French polishing is an old technique that uses shellac dissolved in alcohol and hand rubbing the finish onto the timber with what's called a rubber. Oil is something that we use to highlight grain on timber to give it a 3D look.
We really enjoyed working with you. You listened to our ideas and added some of your owns that we hadn't thought of and the result is our dining table. You gave us great service, were on time, on budget and the attention to detail and quality finish is incredible. The experience of getting my bedside table custom made has been almost as exciting as getting the table itself.

Kevin was a pleasure to deal with at Boustead and Brown. He took the time to understand what we wanted, and the custom bar-height chairs he fashioned for us showcase his superb craftsmanship and amazing attention to detail and quality. He takes great pride in his work and clearly has a deep love of his art and material. Our chairs are beautiful, thank you! Highly recommended for fine furniture projects.

My husband and I have used Boustead and Brown many times over the years now, and have always been incredibly happy with the quality of work and the quality of the service. We have found Kevin to be very kind and professional though out the whole process of having our kitchen made and installed. We strongly recommend him and his team, you won't find anyone better.

Had Kevin and his team build us a reception desk. What I got was an amazing desk. The detail, quality, craftsmanship is exceptional. From a discussion over the old and now retired front counter Kevin went away and came back with this beauty. I can’t not recommend Kevin enough. If you need custom furniture you need to talk to Kevin. Great desk and thanks Kevin.

When myself andmy husband down size from our house to an apartment we call Kevin and his team. They came out and did a wonderful job on a number of pieces for us. Storage cabinets and a home office. So when we need more work done, we had no problem get him back for our new dinning table and bedside tables. He is easy to work with and the quality and designs are just amazing.
