We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had the Tallow Suit. Attention to details was amazing. Comfortable, homely, quiet, self contained. Access to the beach was directly opposite the motel, few minutes walk through some vegetation. And about 12 mins drive into Byron town, we parked for free opposite Reflections Holiday Park Clarkes beach every time we went into town and walked to the centre/main beach. Suffolk Park Shops are 10 min walk away from the motel. Two things we weren’t happy about were the small springy mattress and the lack of internet reception in case you have to work remotely. Wifi

This place is great. Not the newest or anything, but so much thought has gone into the decorations and such that you'll fall in love with it for atmosphere and decor alone. Very quiet. Parking outside the rooms. Efficient air conditioning. Across the road from the cleanest beach I've ever seen and a short walk from some local shops. An hour and a half walk along the beach to the hill where the lighthouse is (not the lighthouse itself though, that requires more walking). Wear sunscreen, omg.

Classic older style motel that has been extensively renovated in a quasi Balinese style. Very clean and comfortable with a small kitchenette suitable for preparing breakfast or light meals. Sitting area with air con which also cools the bedroom space. The hosts have clearly thought about the small touches which make for a comfortable stay. Recommended.

Not for that price (199 AUD per night), we stayed two nights! We went to a lot of motels and hotels during our stay in australia and that one was the most expensive and the less exciting one.
- Room is not very big
- No AirCon
- Table was not clean and we had a lot of ants on it
- Wifi didn't work in the room just outside
- Saw a cockroach in front of our room
At least the staff was very friendly and helpfull. And the beach is right across the street.

The best quality and location in byron.. if you're after a peaceful holiday where you can sleep with the sound of the beach then this is the place! Was a five star experience without the huge price tag... room sleeps from 3-4 people too so very good value and excellent pool and outdoor area! Will def be back! loved it loved it loved
