Yesterday John & Edward did a move for us from Petersham to Peakhurst.
They were very efficient, friendly and honest.
They found $50 behind some furniture and gave it to me!
I would definitely recommend them to anyone for a move.
Thiago is also very helpful and efficient.

Where do I start. I listed all items in my two bedroom apartment that required moving plus extra just incase. A small truck arrived with 2 Brazilian men. It took a total of 10 hours costing $1400 to move about 2/3 of what we needed moved. The day after the move I went to move my dresser from where they placed it, only to notice the back all broken and bits of the leg falling off, causing it to be unstable. I sent photos and explained why happened to the case manager immediately. 2 weeks later I’m still calling city move everyday to find out what is happening with my dresser, with the same answers

I was so disappointed to be charged double what I was quoted over the phone. It was estimated that the move would take 2hrs for 13 cubic metres of storage. I was charged for four.
For some reason they double handle everything- loading things into a truck and then loading them into storage modules. Many businesses load your stuff straight into modules on the back of the truck.
Also beware... their storage service doesn’t include insurance.
You’ll also be paying for the parking tickets if the drivers need to park the truck in a ticketed area. That seems totally bizarre to me... surely they

I definitely recommend City Move. They communicated well and were very professional. They confirmed my move twice and offered a lot of helpful tips. Great price on move, they don't charge for their time going to and from the depot and only charge per minute after the first 90 mins. The movers turned up late, but they actually showed me the road obstructions that had caused it. I'm very happy with their service.

I used Citymove last week to move about 10 minutes down the road. The guys were a bit slow packing everything, but as they were being very careful I didn't mind so much. I was however extremely annoyed when we got to the new place, which has only just been built, and they dragged mud all through the house and all over the brand new carpet. Not once did they ask if they should remove their shoes, or put something down on the carpet for them to walk on (they had plenty of packing materials they could have used), and didn't apologise at the end of even mention it at all.
