You do not need a referral to come and see us, unless you are a DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs) card holder, or you have been placed under an EPC (Enhance Primary Care) plan by your doctor. If you need X-rays or ultrasounds we can refer you for these studies just like your doctor. You don't have to put up with foot pain.

Do I need a referral? No any person can see a podiatrist and you do not require a referral unless you are a DVA card holder or you are under an EPC(Enhanced Primary Care) plan in which case a referral from your GP is required. Can a Podiatrist refer you for x-rays and diagnostic ultrasounds? Yes your podiatrist is recognised by Medicare as being able to refer for xrays and ultrasound studies.
