Services
PhysioXtra offers a hands-on approach to treatment, providing soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation and manipulation as well as muscle balance techniques and personal programs of general mobilising and strengthening exercises. To aid the natural healing process and to relieve the pain we also use acupuncture and electrotherapy in the form of ultrasound and interferential.
Many women find Pilates to be one of best exercises to do, both during and after their pregnancy. Pilates and pregnancy go so well together because Pilates is great at building core strength. If your abdominals, back, and pelvic floor muscles are toned, they will support a more comfortable pregnancy and delivery.
There are many ways in which the benefits of massage can improve the quality of your life. Relief from pain due to musculoskeletal and sporting injuries is one of the major benefits of massage. It can also relieve tension headaches, reduce anxiety and depression, improve sleep and assist in general pain relief.
PhysioXtra offers a comprehensive Podiatry service of the highest standard, provided by the podiatrists at myPod Podiatry (Marion, Pirie Street & Victor Harbor). If you are looking for the best Podiatrist to treat your feet, the team at myPod have your back. We run a large team of Podiatrists with experience in all fields of Podiatry, and maintain special relationships with sporting clubs and organisations right throughout the state.
