Nathania Springs has a rich history dating back to the 1890s, where it was one of the first properties settled on the Dandenong Ranges. Our naturally occurring mineral springs were considered to have healing properties by the indigenous owners of the land. Initially named 'Nethania Springs', meaning gift from God, Nathania Springs became one of the premier tourist destinations of the Dandenong Ranges in the early 1900s.
Today, Nathania Springs is a boutique, dedicated wedding reception venue, with acres of fairy lit gardens dating over 200 years. We are part of the same family as other Dandenong ranges icons such as Tatra Receptions, Poets' Lane & Lyrebird Falls.

A historic property, Nathania Springs is located just one hour from Melbourne's CBD, set amongst acres of botanic, flood lit gardens & magical Dandenong Ranges forest. Our all-inclusive wedding package, onsite chapel, spacious dining room & outdoor ceremony area make Nathania Springs the perfect location for a wedding as unique as you are.
Dating back to the 1890s, Nathania Springs' historic botanic gardens are the perfect setting for your outdoor wedding amongst the canopy of the Dandenong Ranges forest. For you and your fianc - your own private garden & relaxation area, available exclusively to you and your bridal party on the day of your wedding.
If you are using GPS, please check that you are coming to Nathania Springs via one of the above routes, as sometimes GPS will direct visitors down unsealed roads requiring a 4WD. We strongly recommend that you book a taxi in advance, with a local Dandenong Ranges provider. City taxis will often not pick up from the Dandenong Ranges at night or there will be a lengthy wait.

Amazing venue. We had our wedding here at the end of 2019 before Covid struck. Beautiful outdoor gardens with an amazing indoor chapel with lots of natural light. Matt the wedding planner was so lovely to deal with and made the whole experience. Definitely recommend looking here for your wedding venue.

Was here for a wedding, pulled forward due to covid. The venue did a good job of getting this place ready at real short notice. Nice character and charm, old school chandeliers, cathedral ceilings. Large dance floor and still room for guests. Lovely garden that we didn't get to see too much of due to fading light. Reasonable parking just watch out for the water rut near the exit.

My wife and I had the perfect night here in 2016. Everything went extremely smoothly and we couldn't have been happier. Matt pulled out all the stops and allowed us to relax (as much as you can!) knowing he had everything under control in the background. We had so many guests coming up to us telling us how amazing the venue is, as well as how helpful all the staff were.
We did have a slight hiccup at the time of the rehearsal, however that was smoothed over and compensated for so well that we are honestly not even slightly bothered. Thank you so much to Matt and everyone else at Nathania, we'll

This venue was absolutely perfect! the service provided by Matt and the team was phenomenal, the food was fantastic the set up was truly perfect and after deciding to move the ceremony inside becuase of the… weather 15 minutes before I walked in, the pulled that off perfectly too! We had the most amazing time and couldn't recommend this venue AND it's people highly enough!

Big shout out to Matthew, our main point of contact who would go above and beyond to cater for our every need regardless of how big or small it was. Our host on the night, Emma was also amazing and made the whole experience easy and memorable.
I would highly recommend Nathania Springs for its beautiful picturesque setting and extraordinary staff!

This is one of the prettiest venues in the glorious Dandenongs near Melbourne! I have been lucky enough to have performed many weddings here (as a marriage celebrant), and each one has been perfect beyond measure. Such brilliant staff, food, grounds, chapel - this place has the lot! Can highly recommend :)

No matter what review I write below the words will not do this place justice. They truly made my wedding day perfect!!!
Our wedding day was doomed to be a nightmare from the very start, I dare say some would have called it a sign they shouldn't be married at all, but my husband and I were determined to have our 'Happily ever after' and thanks to Nathania Springs we certainly got our fairy

Nathania Springs has a great set up and we loved getting married here. The chapel, the bridal room, the dining room are all beautiful and great sizes. The grounds are beautiful too and well maintained, making great backdrops for photos. Our wedding coordinator got stuck in traffic, due to an unexpected highway closure, the owner came and helped organise the start of our ceremony, it was really going above and beyond for us.
