Reflections Academy of Dance was created to foster a love of dance in a warm and positive environment. As a student, your child will grow their confidence and abilities while making friends for life. Founded in 2013, our facility is quickly becoming one of Melbourne's most sought after dance school in the South East suburbs.
The VCE Dance course at Reflections Academy of Dance is a fully accredited VCE subject recognised by the Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority (VCAA). RAD is one of only a few dance schools in the South-Eastern suburb that offer VCE through a private provider. As Dance is a specialist elective, that many schools cannot offer, RAD believes that we have made this accessible to local students at an affordable price.
VCE VET Dance caters for dancers who have a passion for performing and showcasing their dance ability. VCE VET Dance is a national training package which is recognised throughout Australia. At Reflections Academy of Dance we are now choreographing VCE VET solos for ANY student wishing to have a tailor-made dance for them and their abilities.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in a variety of dance teaching contexts, including private dance studios. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others and have limited responsibility for the output of others.

Reflections is the most amazing dance studio! Reflections is such a friendly and inclusive environment and is very reasonably priced. The owners and teachers are professional and are always so beautiful and caring to the students. They go above and beyond to make every dancers experience fun and encourage everyone to be their best. They have so many different programs to cater for all different levels of dancers and age groups. The dance teachers are amazing role models for the students and Reflections also offer a student teaching program. I highly recommend Reflections Academy of Dance

This amazing dance school -Reflections Academy of Dance have just exceeded by expectations yet again. Not only has this family owned business been so pro active and supported our children throughout Covid despite the financial impact this long run of lockdowns must have taken on your business, but they have constantly kept us updated, gone above and beyond communicating with our dancers and kept them motivated when we were in lockdown. They have been so fair and considerate amending our fees and throughout all this with no or limited government support.

I would personally recommend Reflections Academy of Dance to anyone and everyone. From the first day I stepped into the building to complete my VCE Dance experience I felt welcomed, inspired and supported by all the amazing staff. My VCE dance teacher goes above and beyond to support everyone no matter what they need and provides extra help from herself, past students and teachers from the studio to ensure that we get the best possible training and teaching to prepare for our exams to ensure we achieve our very best.

I have completed both Year 11 and Year 12 VCE Dance at Reflections and I couldn’t have imagined a more professional and nurturing environment to study a subject a love. Just had our daughter's first dance concert as she is a ready set go dancer. Loved it!!! Our daughter loves going to dance class, loves her teacher Miss Natalie, she adores Leanne, has made friends with the other kids in the class and loves interacting with the older kids at the concert. Definitely recommend to parents who want to get their kids into dance as it is a very welcoming and inclusive school. It's been great for her confidence and social development.
