Avalon City Imaging is a fun, vibrant studio located in Adelaide's CBD. With a focus on making stunning portraits, our team has over 50 years combined experience in creating incredible, customised artwork to keep for years to come. Located on historic Chesser Street, our three story terrace building has played host to many of Australias biggest names in photography.
Our custom home decor will give any home that personal touch. Choose between hand crafted frames or contemporary block mounts. All wall art comes ready to hang either as a stunning feature piece for a single wall, or hung in seperate rooms of the house. These pieces are sturdy enough to keep their shape but light enough to hang on the wall with simple 3m hooks.

The photos from our newborn shoot were average and way overpriced for what they are! We only purchased 2 pics in the end and honestly the quality of the photos was not worth the price at all. It really felt like a waste of time travelling in with a newborn 3 times for the shoot, photo viewing and to pic up the photos. We have now booked with… another Adelaide photographer as we weren’t happy with the pics from Avalon. The print out that came with the shoot is also blurry and looks almost as if they have photoshopped or filtered the photo of our daughter to the point it doesn&rsquo

I enjoyed it so much and had so much fun throughout the whole experience. Everyone was so warm and welcoming I felt at ease as soon as I walked in. I appreciate all the effort and time that was spent with me,… so that I felt comfortable in front of the camera as I had never done anything like this before 😊.

I can’t begin to explain how good I felt during the shoot. I was made to feel relaxed and so confident it was unbelievable. The whole team made me feel so beautiful and I can’t wait to see the finished product. Thankyou staff for applying your knowledge and helping me feel good about myself by being funny and having the best music going to help me… relax. Definitely will be coming back and recommending you guys. You are all awesome. I had so much fun at my shoot, Dave is so easy to get along with, funny and genuine. He made me feel amazing on the day and the confidence high has lasted, he reminded me I'm sexy and beautiful and captured that on film. Also... posing for 2 hours is a great strength work out for your abs and in my case calves because I don't normally wear killer heels! Thanks also to Jess who did a fab job on my makeup and hair.😍

David was so easy to get along with, almost like chatting with an old friend. He made me feel so incredibly comfortable and laughing nonstop. I felt, confident, sexy and just down right incredible.
