The idea was generated from a university assignment completed by Shaun and Tim. The two students decided to turn their concept into reality and The Furniture Shack was born. Low start-up capital forced the boys to learn all tasks of running a retail enterprise from unloading containers right through to hand delivering the item to the customer's home.

This the second time I've had the pleasure of doing business at The Furniture Shack. Felicia and Violetta, in particular, were absolutely wonderful throughout the entire purchase process as they worked overtime to ship my order from two different destinations. I worked with Falica to get my sectional and ottoman, and it was such a breeze! I used them because of their amazing reviews. The sectional and ottoman I received are fantastic, and I’m so happy. The people they work with for deliveries and assemblies were amazing too. Falica was so friendly and communicative, and incredibly easy to work with. Pleasantly surprised at how affordable, high quality and efficient Furniture Shack is. When I first found their website I thought it was so simple and straight forward it had to be a scam. 🤣 But then I called them and sure enough it’s real! We came to the furniture shack looking for a sectional couch that would comfortably fit our family. Vivi greeted us with a smile and showed us all our options. Everyone was super friendly and it wasn’t one of those environments where you feel pressured to buy something. We found a sectional we loved and had it delivered today. It looks great in our home. I stumbled upon The Furniture Shack from a quick Google maps search of local furniture stores. Wow, I'm so glad I found them! The outside of their warehouse storefront is a little non-descript, but feels very home-y once you walk in. I was quickly greeted and pointed to the furniture I was searching for. They had exactly what I was looking for - a slim profile power recliner - at a really great price. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and not pushy at all.
