Revathi Mohan ("Rev") completed her Bachelor of Laws at Murdoch University in 2008. Rev has more than a decade of legal experience which includes her 10 years of practice in Family Law in Perth, Western Australia and prior to this, several years of experience in the areas of Family Law, Divorce Law, Criminal Law, Conveyancing and Arbitration in Singapore.

In 1995, the term "custody" was abolished via the Family Law Reform Act. The concept of custody gave much broader decision making powers to the parent with whom the child lives. When a Court is making a parenting Order, the Family Law Act 1975 requires it to regard the best interest of the child as their paramount consideration.
