Based in Newman Western Australia, Serene Bedlam Photography provides professional portrait, event, commercial and photobooth photography in Newman and across the Pilbara. Life can often be crazy, a joyful busy and energetic bedlam filled with life, love, noise, confusion and laughter. Amidst that craziness there is often a moment of serenity, sometimes a split second that can capture all that energy in peace.
Newborn Photography is one of my favourite aspects of photography and I treasure each early memory I capture of this precious new life. I have developed my style through a great variety of newborn training and workshops focusing on the safety of your baby and creating beautiful photographs. I love to celebrate the newness and my style for newborn photography is very clean and natural to reflect this.
Milestone Photography is so perfect for capturing your (oh so quickly!) growing baby! Newborn photography creates memories of them when they are brand new, squishy and small. Milestone photography is for the time in between when they are growing and changing so much!
I offer tummy time (approx 3 month), sitter sessions (6months onwards for the independently sitting baby), crawler (9 months or so before they usually start to walk) and of course the one year session which can be a cake smash, a smash and splash, a paint splash or a simply one year photography session with the baby as the centre of attention!

Cake smash photos are just so much fun! It really is the perfect celebration of a birthday (usually first) - giving your child what is often their first taste of cake, a whole cake, just for them! Most of the time they don't know what to do with it but it is always a fun time for everyone and we capture amazing photos of this very special day.

We were lucky enough to be gifted a photo session with Sarah as a leaving Newman gift from some wonderful friends. Sarah was so amazing, very friendly and easy to talk to to arrange everything we wanted out of the session at short notice. She took us to some gorgeous 'typically pilbara' locations and kept the kids engaged while she snapped so many amazing shots. So very grateful to have had this experience and to take some wonderful memories away with us. Highly recommend Sarah to anyone needing a quality photographer :)

Serene Bedlam Studios had allowed me to book santa for a 30 minute private session as my youngest (4 year old, non-verbal autistic son) has never had photos with santa before. The girls listened to all my worries about what could go wrong and constantly put me at ease. They went above and beyond to make sure that not only my 4 year old but my 8… year old had a fantastic stress free experience with santa, and because of their patience, dedication, and genuine compassion, we received an unforgettable and amazing set of photos to share with the family this year and many more years to come.

I've been working with Sarah for a couple of months now with her photobooth & of recent times assisting her in some family studio photoshoots and I have to say she is the most amazing photographer.
