Bourke Riverside Motel is the only accommodation of its kind with a Darling River frontage in Bourke Township. Located in a quiet spot, this Motel offers a picturesque, secure and relaxing stay away from the highway. Bourke Riverside Motel was created from the 1875 Telegraph Hotel and the surrounding original riverboat township.

We are a family of 5, who stayed in one of the king family rooms, plenty of space, excellent amenities, comfy and clean beds and a beautiful glimpse into the history of Bourke. The pool was a welcome sight on a 45 degree day! The hosts where polite and very welcoming. I had a group booking for 12 rooms.

Locked Out! Slept in Car. Paid in Full for a room.
5 mins out of Bourke you have NO phone service all locals know this.
We were running late we got a flat. No way to ring the motel as still 100kms out of town and no phone service. Got into Bourke at 9.30pm straight to motel. To be welcomed to padlocked gates! Check our phones, no messages, no missed called, but an email invoice from the motel sent at 6.30pm.
Tried to ring the motel sooo many times no answer.
Where to next? 4 tired, stinky ppl after changing a tire in red dirt and 39 degrees.

Convenient location. Room clean enough. Wifi did not worked for either of our phones. When asked repeatedly the reception guy. All we got was "works for me, must be your provider". Utter nonsense. The room was a bit dark. So felt overall that for that money should be better.

My absolute favourite place to stay in the outback! I’ve never been anywhere like it, you get to stay in historic buildings that originally were all that Bourke was and the grounds are beautiful.

Didnt even get out of my vehicle and the staff were going out of there way to help...
What can i say the staff are super awesome..
The rooms are amazing..
Like being in a mini house..
I stay im many motels due to work.. this place is probably my favourite...love the style of the rooms..
The whole experience is great.
Love the history in this place...

Very beautiful and lovely historical buildings with cozy rooms.
Nice staff and a few restaurants within walking distance.
If you like the feeling of living in rooms of mansions back in the day, this is the place to go!

Loved our stay at the Bourke Riverside Motel, great spot, historical room with heritage significance, modern bathroom & amenities. Dean the owner was fantastic as he kindly upgraded us to the Executive suite at no extra charge. Fantastic service, highly recommended.

We've stayed in all motels in Bourke now and this is the best by far. Rooms are comfortable spacious and clean. The motel grounds are lovely and well maintained and the manager and staff really friendly. We visit family a couple of times a year and will be staying here from now on.

Cute, affordable accommodation. The service was excellent, we were greeted with a smile & there's a new pool to enjoy. The walls are kinda thin & the bed was hard but for the price & location, that wouldn't stop us from returning.

We stay here everytime we go through. I love the large rooms and old world historic charm. All the rooms have a different theme. The gardens are pleasant. It's a close walk to the river and good places to eat. Pleasant place to stay after a long day on the road.
