Services
Core Connections Counselling Services (CCCS) provides counselling to individuals, couples and families. Receiving counselling has many positive and well documented benefits. Relationships can be strengthened ~ cycles broken ~ wounds healed ~ issues resolved ~ tensions / anxieties relieved ~ improvement to ones mental and physical health ~ increase self-esteem and self-worth ~ decisions made and directions taken.
We accept self-referrals. You can do this by contacting us directly. We welcome referrals from your GP / other allied health professionals, and from the providers which Core Connections has affiliations with / contracted by.
People are eligible to use our service if they provide care and support to a family member or friend who is frail and elderly, has dementia, a mental illness, a disability, chronic illness or complex needs, or receives palliative care.We can also provide counselling if a client has recently stopped providing care.

Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative: A Medicare rebate of $77.80 - $88.25 is available when referred by your GP under a Mental Health Care Plan, or a Psychiatrist assessment and management plan, with an assessed mental disorder. You are entitled to 20 sessions per calendar year. After the first ten sessions there will be a review by the referring practitioner.
