Ash is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales as a legal practitioner. Ash assists clients with complex legal matters that require strategic direction and innovative approach. He works closely with his clients and the legal team to ensure that the clients are provided seamless services. Ash practiced law in Sydney for about 9 years before moving to Wollongong in early 2009.
Peter brings wealth of experience to the firm and works closely with the family law and property teams to ensure that all matters meet the same high standards that Acorn Lawyers are known for. Peter is an Accredited Family Law Specialist having a vast knowledge of and workings in the areas of family law, conveyancing, property, criminal law and general legal work.
Abigail graduated from the University of New England with a Bachelor of Law in 2019. She completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law in 2020 and was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 2020. She is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales. Abigail joined the Compensation Law Team at Acorn Lawyers in 2020 and since then, she has worked with Director James Govan, to deliver optimum outcomes for her clients.
After his admission in 1995, following completion of the punishing Solicitor's Admission Board course James worked for several of Sydney's best known mid-tier firms before moving to Wollongong in 2008. James has an Honours Arts Degree (in Politics & History) from the University of Wollongong and therefore moving back to Wollongong was something of a homecoming for him.
Brooke graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2019 with a combined degree of Bachelor of Laws (Distinction) and Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) (Distinction). In her spare time Brooke enjoys spending time with family and friends, music and going to the beach. Prior to becoming a solicitor, Brooke began her career at Acorn Lawyers as a Paralegal in 2016 while completing her studies.
