I called to enquire about doing my tax return with BrisTax for the first time, and the guy who answered didn't know that when you do your tax return through a tax agent, the ATO allows you to delay the due date for the return. This is pretty basic information.
He said he would ask someone about this as well as something else I asked him, and he said he would get back to me. He never called me back.
I'm surprised that BrisTax don't seem to be more interested in getting new business.

After phoning Bris Tax for a quote to prepare our annual SMSF report and audit, I was told by a very polite receptionist to email Stephen. I emailed Stephen and supplied about half a page of detail. His email reply "Hi Max, Sorry we don't compete on price." Obviously not competing on public relations or manners either. Stephen Blake, if your business doesn't want to compete in the market, then please advise your receptionist so you don't waste peoples time. By the way, regards Stephen would have been nice.
