We'll start with the highlights, but when the big tour groups hop back on their coach, our local guides will help you find a more unique, personal experience. In 40 years of travel we've learned 12 people is the perfect number for comfort and good company, which is why we only have 12 people on each of our small group adventures.

Our experienced leaders unlock unique local experiences for thousands of travellers every day, that's why they're some of the most awarded in the industry. We choose to support local economies by working with tour leaders from the regions we visit, carbon offset every trip at no extra cost to our travellers and advocate for child protection and animal rights in the tourism industry.

Our name stems from the word 'Peregrinate', meaning to migrate, walk or take a pilgrimage - very fitting for our beginnings as a trekking company. Since our inception, we've broadened our horizons and now offer small group journeys in over 80 countries across all seven continents, which can be enjoyed by anyone with an enquiring mind who enjoys getting off the beaten track (without forgoing some of the comforts of home).

Not through a coach window or with 50 strangers wearing headsets, not with a personal butler or a big buffet breakfast - but intimately, authentically, memorably. At Peregrine we're for premium adventures, and for us that means embracing the spirit of adventure through a more immersive cultural journey.
Asia is a continent that has long fascinated travellers, from the dawning of the Silk Road to the emergence of present-day superstates. Asia's sights are both fabled and unknown, from the Great Wall of China to the forgotten city of Merv in Turkmenistan. Experience Buddhist imperialism in Bhutan - where western influence is nowhere to be seen - or the dizzying lights of famous Hong Kong cascading over towering skyscrapers.
From cloud-shrouded volcanic peaks to sun-splashed beaches, lost temples to charming colonial towns, Central America is replete with natural wonders and converging cultures. This narrow isthmus is home to some of the greatest biodiversity in the world, the happiest people on earth and a mix of cultures than can be traced back thousands of years.

1st tour and last with this company! . Unfortunately the hotel on the Peregrin tour Essence of India are the worst we ever stayed. Some of them no AC, no kettle to make a cup of tea in the rooms, smelly rooms, damp rooms, uncomfortable beds, old rooms, no TV. We are Absolutely horrified by how we were conned to take part on a Peregrine tour, telling us that the accommodation would be of a much higher standard then their Intrepid Tour sister company, Total Rubbish. We are actually doing the same tour and staying in the same hotel of their Intrepid Tours (sister company who caters for lowest starred
