Albion Hotel
In 1882 our beloved Albion was constructed on the corner of George and Harris st. In 1924 the original site was demolished and replaced with a new hotel, The Albion was once fondly known as "Albie's'" down by Gasworks bridge to the locals and has always been a favourite watering hole for the Parramatta community.

In 1986 the Solomon family acquired the Albion and have built it into what is it today. With a couple of minor facelifts along the way, Albies is now a sun-drenched beer garden by day and a booming nightclub by night. If only walls could talk, we know that this old girl would have many stories to tell.
Services
Regarded as one of the most premium lounges in Western Sydney, the Albion Hotel's VIP Lounge features the latest technology and entertainment. Your safety in our VIP lounge is also our highest priority so we have several features for your safety including; hand sanitiser around the venue, complimentary disposable hand wipes, sanitisation of machines after every use, the social distancing of machines for health and privacy.
We love all dogs, big or small, timid or cheeky and we can't wait to meet your furry family member. Do our team a favour and bring your furry buddy in next time you dine in our beer garden. We understand that most doggos have a bedtime so before the night gets too wild we ask that our furry guests leave by 8 pm.
They are welcome in the Lounge Bar and Garden Bar until 9pm as long as they are supervised by an adult. We also encourage kids to stay and enjoy major sports matches e.g. State of origin. We are a 5 minute walk from the Parramatta Ferry terminal and a 7 minute walk from Parramatta Train and bus interchange.
The Albion Hotel is the perfect location for your next event. Ideally located on the edge of the Parramatta CBD, we have a number of spaces for you to choose from to cater for groups large and small. At the Albion we understand how important your event is, and we endeavour to make it memorable for you and your guests.

Had a great stay at the Albion, our room was quite large with a huge bathroom and shower. The room was very clean with a large tv. We were on the ground floor overlooking the beach with great views.
The bar is a nice place to sit in the evening and watch all the activities on the beach. The barman, Dillon was polite and friendly and a real credit to the company. The lady on reception was also nice and helpful.
What we didn’t like was the food package, no flexibility you have to pay £30 each, per day for the complete duration of your stay.
Because we overlooked the small car park between the

Very dated needs refurbishment, food is just OK, staff are helpful except the lazy night porter, breakfast, and evening meals have limited choice optionsbut acceptable quality but not good value, not enough management available to control the low staff levels, no bar menu available, even getting an afternoon pot of tea was an effort, always had to chase the duty bar person to get a drink. Needs more staff. Lots of things wrongly blamed on covid-19.

Nice hotel but a bit tired looking on the outside, could do with a coat of paint and some weeding. Food was delicious, well cooked and just right portions. Comfortable beds and rooms. Very friendly and welcoming staff

The decor in the hotel rooms is really outdated and hasn’t been changed since the 70s, breakfast and lunch was pretty basic (not enough options,) there was also no leaflets or anything to show off what there is to do on the lovely Island, places to visit and places to eat; which is a shame and also hotel is way too pricey for what you get.
However the staff were very friendly (they definitely deserve a raise,) the rooms were clean and comfortable enough and the views from the balcony are phenomenal, that is definitely the best thing about the hotel, the view from the balcony.
The hotel needs

Had a great weeks holiday based at the Albion, double room with sea view was lovely, very clean and towels changed when requested, didn’t bother with the breakfast/ dinner option which didn’t appeal to us. Great situation, sea water about 14 degrees so we wore wetsuits, but others just wore costumes. Reception staff were very pleasant. Only used pool once as not that warm and a bit short for doing lengths.

We have been visiting this hotel for over six years now and have noticed a genteel decline in service over the years.
It's the little things: including coffee after dinner which became an extra about four years ago, the general decline in the decoration (lack of hooks in the bedrooms) for example. It was particularly noticeable this year, perhaps due to the start up the week before, after the covid relaxation. The stock of drinks at the bar was limited; four of the five draught beers and cider were unavailable.
The one thing that stays static is the excellent quality of the food. Breakfast is

The hotel needs some care and attention. The carpets, decor, furniture and bedding are all dates and worn out.
The food is awful, bland, unimaginative and under seasoned. Restaurant staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is awesome but just with a few a basics the whole place could be transformed. Wouldn't recommend it.

Room was good and big one .the view of hotel is excellent but the management of hotel was very poor .The receptionist awful .There is no variety of breakfast. Everyday same breakfast and even no dinner variety for vegetarian. The chef is too slow and there is a lot of hairs in the pocked eggs .Most important thing there is no microwave and fridge in the rooms .

Ordered the char-grilled steak rump with my cousin and i asked for medium which was delivered but the portion size especially fries needs to improve it was not even a handful and charged us $26 each . I give you 3 stars cuz the cashier was really friendly and the steak was good. Will give it another try to see the change if not. I can spent my $ 26 and beer else where in parra.

The best pub to go to in Parramatta would have to be The Albion. I love the outdoor seating and the relaxed atmosphere. Meals are good and are of a good portion size. Great place to just kick back and have a few on a sunny nice day!

Okay I only ever been to this place once but sometime once is enough to say that I really liked the place. It's not quite in the Parramatta town centre, but when I passed by (and dropped in for a drink) there were a fair few people here. Mind you, I got in before the hordes of teachers descended upon the place since the bartender told me that this was the goto place for end of term drinks. The beer garden was awesome, and the staff really friendly. They also have a nightclub that starts up around 9:00 pm, though I was a little too early for that (and I'm probably getting a bit too old

So straight after my first elite event I drove here to visit friends!

Friday night had a relaxed vibe with a live duo act singing old school rock with their trusty guitars - great voices!

Where the locals meet the workers for Friday night schooners!

Massive outdoor beer garden as well as a Tab area for those who want to bet and also thy have dj's on Saturdays in the gasworks bar.

All in all a good night to catch up with mates .

From the signage this bar looks like a real party spot: DJ nights, happy hour specials, etc.

I've only been here for lunch, though. It's the closest to my workplace that's decent for a group of four people or more. That's because its outdoor seating area is as large as its inside area, with lots of covered benches, sunny tables, and cooling mist spray for those really hot days.

The food's decent, and typical group-sharing stuff: nachos and pizza and salad and calamari. There's also a very large selection of beers and other drinks on tap.

Good place for a work
