At Bridge Rd Dental, it is our philosophy and purpose to provide quality dental care for all patients. We've been part of the Richmond community for over 8 years now. Dr Shanthini has been serving patients quality dental care for over 20 years. Our practice features a relaxed, friendly atmosphere so you feel comfortable and at ease when you visit us.

We also work with children and provide an array of children's dentistry services to keep their teeth healthy from young. Dr Shanthini Rao is our friendly principle dentist at Bridge Rd Dental. Dr Shanthini graduated in 1994 in India and went on to complete her Australian Dental Examination Certificate in 2000. She is inspired by doing an excellent job for her patients and having an eye for detail and design. Dr Shanthini begun practicing as a dentist in 2001 and has been serving the Richmond community for over 8 years.
Dr Atteya believes that excellent dentistry provided with compassion could have a long lasting, profound effect on a patient's life. His motto is Quality dentistry, quality life'. He worked in the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and in multiple private practices in Cairo, Egypt and Melbourne where he gained an extensive valuable experience.
A recent addition to our team, Dr Sean Hogan has a keen interest and passion in oral surgery. Since 2001, he has restricted his practice to extractions, wisdom tooth removal, and minor oral surgery procedures. Dr Sean is trained in several leading implant systems and is experienced in implant placement.

Thank you so much for the great experience I had! I get very afraid going to the dentist but Dr Shanthini made me feel completely at ease and settled my nerves completely. I can not recommend this practice enough! I was a new patient, frantically trying to find a dentist to see me and after sending a message on Easter Sunday detailing the pain I was in from an infection, Dr Nihal & Dr Shanthini opened the practice just for me on Easter Monday. They kept me so calm & were absolutely wonderful. As soon as Dr Nihal got the tooth out I was instantly relieved. I have definitely found my new practice!!

I’m actually disgusted with this dental office - I can’t even wrap my head around why they have so many good reviews.
I booked an appointment 3 weeks in advance, in which I stated on their online portal exactly what I was needing done, I had a previous consultation with another dentist and had my x-rays I knew exactly what I needed. The dentist spent 25 minutes explaining a root canal to me which I really didn’t need as I knew what it was and was ready to start my treatment, in so much pain and was wanting to start.
I go through my payment options with her and tell her I’m ready to start

Straight to the point, unlike other dentists, Dr Shanthini wouldn't recommend you unnecessary treatments or other procedures. She is very honest in her profession and keen to do the best for her patient's oral health and pocket. The quality of her service is to be commended along with the professionalism and friendliness of the dental hygienist Simran. Definitely recommend her to all my friends and family.

I accidentally happened to visit this place to get a second opinion after having been examined by my local dentist where I was asked to straightaway book a RC surgery. And I’m really glad I chose to do so.
