The Kruger Law team of professionals comprises two partners and a number of talented individuals including a number of staff members who are also studying law at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Trent spent 10 years working at Schultz Toomey O'Brien Lawyers working in Wills & Estates, Elder Law and Commercial Law.
Born & raised on the Sunshine Coast, Trent worked as a Registered Nurse before beginning his legal career in 2005. Trent spent 10 years working at Schultz Toomey O'Brien Lawyers working in Wills & Estates, Elder Law and Commercial Law. He began working at Kruger Law in early 2015 and became John's business partner in mid-2015.
With a background in law that extends over 40 years, John Kruger established Kruger Law in 1990 as an expert legal firm that specialises in Property, Commercial, Elder & Estate Law. John built the law firm and its stellar reputation to what it is today on the quality of its customised legal solutions and no-nonsense advice.
Cec was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1996 and has been a well respected lawyer on the Sunshine Coast for more than 25 years. Cec recently joined our team after a well earned sabbatical, following many years as a Partner of Schultz Toomey O'Brien Lawyers.
Cec has a wealth of experience in many areas of law and practices extensively in Estate Litigation, Probate Disputes, Trust Administration, Wills & Estates and Succession Planning.As well as assisting many private clients, he has given the community the benefit of his legal expertise. In 2017 Cec was awarded Life Membership of the Suncoast Community Legal Service in appreciation of his voluntary dedication to the Service for more than a decade.

Growing up on the Sunshine Coast, Tenielle was awarded both a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and a Bachelor of Business (with Distinction) from the Queensland University of Technology. Tenielle won the University's prize for Wills & Estates after achieving the highest result in her graduating class.

I highly recommend Kruger Law for estate planning. My wife and I found Trent Wakerley and his team, especially Peta Gibbs to be professional, responsive and supportive through the sometimes confronting process of completing a will, advanced health directive and enduring powers of attorney. Trent and Peta also adapted to our situation with all services provided electronically rather than face to face. With this in place my wife and I have peace of mind that Kruger Law will be around to execute our wishes if and when required.
