Absolutely LOVE my hair transformation! Went from a tired straggled old lady to an easy going, younger, fun version. Could not stop smiling at the results in the mirror! Shane is a brilliant hair dresser. My hair is an unussual type of hair. A lot of hair dresser couldn't manage it well but with Shane, seems to be nothing is impossible, long hair, medium hair are fine and always looks beautiful. Not to mention is his impecable service! Always feel cheerful and energize after having hair cut with him😊. Another plus from hairway is the massage chair 😉

I Love & completely trust Hairway! Amazing first-class talent and creativity to produce unique short styles that I love & the vision to seamlessly evolve styles over time. Shane is the Cutting & Colour King - always on point!
Shane, Ange & the team have a great approach in getting to know you & what it is you want every time you go into the salon. It’s always fun, relaxing & friendly... and the head massages are consistently AMAZING no matter who does them! I would not go to anyone else in Mackay

They are absolutely brilliant. I went in there knowing I had to chop a good length of my hair and feeling very apprehensive as I have fine hair and I’d never been to this salon before. I was introduced to Ben who knew exactly what was going on with my hair and advised that the plan I had to cut a few inches off was the best scenario, he didn’t do… anything over the top as he knew my hair wouldn’t sit with a certain type of cut or style. Ben kept the cut simple and blunt which my hair loves and sits really well.
The team are welcoming and warm and actually put the customer

I love how my hair is full of fabulous curls. Only Shane can make my hair look this good. I aways feel loved and welcomed here. It's a positive atmosphere with friendly staff members. And when I leave with my hair all done I feel like I am on top of the world.

I called up at 4pm to see if they had a last minute appointment, they close at 5, I was that person most people hate who are always coming in just as you finish for the day. Rather than be told that an hour hair cut appointment is too late notice an hour before thy close they fit me in at 4.15! I had an amazing experience, BEAUTIFUL hair and left at 530 feeling fantastic, and they are even extremely cost effective! Couldn't find a single fault!!! Will defiantly be a regular!!

Thank you to Ben at Hairway, transformed my appearance in no time at a very reasonable price. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted and made feel welcome, from the green tea and side chocolate to the professionalism show to you by all the staff. They have the best wash basins I have every experienced, all with massaging chair. You leave the basin with out that dreaded neck pain. I will be back when next up this way.

Undoubtedly the best hair salon in Mackay, The staff are so welcoming, The salon is beautiful, and the shampoo you get is simply amazing - on massaging chairs!
A friend told me they where the best at cutting and color in town and she was right. Thanks for the best experience (and hair) I have had in a salon. XO Tigs
