Our story began in 1977 when Helen Cantone, then aged 15 started work experience at a small salon called 'Nails 'N' Lashes. It was at the famous Southern Cross Hotel - the first 5 star Hotel in Melbourne filled with beautiful boutiques and fancy cars pulling up outside the entrance. So it was a beautiful, exciting place for a young girl to do her work experience.
The perfect add-on to a facial or beauty treatment. A sheet mask rich in oxygenating ginkgo biloba reduces puffiness and dark circles and visibly firms, refines and hydrates the contour of the eye. Great for tired eyes. Our Maintenance Facials are tailored to suit everyone's individual skin type, no matter whether your skin is sensitive, dehydrated, combination or oily.
Our Signature Treatment is the ultimate indulgence for your body. Relax in your own private steam room. A blend of aromatic sea salt, mineral salts and jojoba mixed granules are deeply massaged into your skin to remove impurities, dead skin cells and toxins, followed by an application of our luscious body moisturiser.
The ancient wisdoms of Ayurveda are echoed through this holistic treatment. Toxins are released through the stimulation of pressure points in your body. The massage restores balance to your physical body while enhancing your spiritual and emotional wellbeing. Enlighten your senses through the physical touch.
The healthiest long term nail treatment if the acrylic with the shellac overlay. There is no continual removing of the entire product which means we file the shellac off, refill the acrylic and reapply the Shellac. Our first priority is to maintain a healthy nail bed and we take great care when we do a nail treatment.

We booked the aromatherapy massage and received the relaxation massage. When i asked during the massage about why there was no aromatherapy oils they said we weren't booked in for that service. When i called Helen back to give her this feedback she was insistent that we did get the aromatherapy massage.. If that's the case the description on the website is misleading. Hence why this experience was disappointing.

For the quick appointment in between the work schedule or preparation for holidays, You Day Spa is the place to go. Helen always does a lovely job of my manicure and the length and shape of my nails are always perfect. Not to forget my eyebrows and the other pampers I have along the way. Returning customer for approx 17 years!

I was visiting Melbourne for a few days and was looking for a place to get a massage. I did not have an appointment but luckily May was very accommodating and was able to take me right away. I opted for the Aromatherapy body massage and I was not disappointed. It was a super relaxing full body massage with essential oils and hot towels. May took special care to really concentrate on my shoulders which were very tight. I was very happy with the service and walked out feeling like a million bucks. I would highly recommend this spa if you are looking for a reasonably priced high quality massage.

Wax was bad. Too hot on initial application then she let it cool too much before trying to spread it dragging and pulling the skin. Didn't offer tea tree oil after.
The tried to charge me extra even though the treatment was prepaid. Conveniently waited until halfway through the treatment before telling me. After I suggested calling Vaniday to rectify and her excuse was "no, they never pick up the phone. Just pay me now" yet Vaniday picked up on the second ring... Paid the extra as I could not be bothered sticking around to argue

I booked in for a waxing appointment during my lunch break and what should have been a 30 minute procedure ended up well over an hour. The aesthetician was clearly new having to go over the same area several times and taking way too long, even with someone else coming in to assist.
Service was friendly and prices were reasonable, especially for the Paris end of Collins St. However it was not worth it when the powder cleared and I saw what a shabby job was done. I was very disappointed and will not be returning again. For better results and a more professional job, I recommend Brazilian Butterfly

I love experimenting with new and quirky beauty treatments and a few months ago became obsessed with the idea of tinting my eyelashes... Makin' them dark and broody. I spent two wonderful hours yesterday at You Day Spa with Helen and her team. My feet have never looked so good. The best pedicure in town. The process was relaxing and the end result was fantastic. I can't speak highly enough of the level of service you receive at You Day Spa, each and every time.
