The Duke of York Hotel is based in Narrogin - a large country town surrounded by many smaller towns that use Narrogin as a centre point for shopping, sports etc. It is two and a half hours from Perth with a population of approx 5,000 people.

The Duke of York Hotel is on the main street which is Federal Street, boasting a Thirsty Camel Drive thru, bottleshop, a large lounge bar with beer garden, dinning room, function room and upstairs accommodation with all the rooms having their own ensuite, airconditioners, bar fridge and T.V.Our kitchen is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week.

I heard the meals here were great but we never got that far as the lady behind the bar gave us an icy welcome and blurted out that the kitchen closes in 45 minutes. We decided to order drinks as well as a bottle of wine. Again we were told that there was a coverage fee of $5. The Thirsty camel shop is connected to The hotel and I had to go choose my own wine and come back. Terrible terrible atmosphere and it seemed if you were not local you were not welcome. Will not be going back there again..

Had this monster Tropical Chicken Burger. Absolutely tasty, fresh and very filling. Great country pub. 5 stars. Worth visiting for a feed and a pint or two

Went in for the $20 Parmi night, worst I’ve ever eaten, chips were cold, poor salad, and the parmi was tasteless, it tasted like a jar of tomato paste smeared and cheese topped and shoved under the grill, certainly no taste or love put in….like other country towns do…..
Tasted camp food better than this.
Real disappointed!!!!

I chose the Ocean Catch, it was delish & plenty of it however hubby chose Pork Belly. Although it was tasty only a small serving. All staff friendly & clean dining room. Drinks cold too, would love to sample some of the other meals we saw coming out to others.. wow!

Awesome place to eat , drink or just catchup with mates .
Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Food has great prices and served pretty quickly .

Nice decor, bar staff refused to make cocktails, chicken kiev was over cooked to the point the the meat was hard, chips overcooked. Disappointing in the hospitality aspect as our party of 3 went there for a birthday lunch
