We make top quality handcrafted Jarrah and Marri Furniture, and offer it for sale at the most reasonable prices to be found anywhere on the market. I am not so enthralled with myself that I have named my business after myself, rather the wonderful little town where we live and work.
Although once upon a time in Fremantle, where we started our craft 30 odd years ago, ( some of them bloody odd too.!), we were known as Phil's Woodwork Shop ~ tucked in down behind Fast Eddies on Essex St and The Sala Thai on Norfolk St with the Luna Theatre just opposite. And I do not show pictures of myself fondling a log looking confident and meaningful and gazing pensively into the middle distance.

Thanks for having a look through my website. This shows a bit of a cross section of my work. Also - I appreciate any valid inquiries and respond to all of them. It is polite for you to respond back. As sometimes a bit of time and effort goes in to sending images and descriptions. A simple Thankyou will do - even if you do not wish to continue.
Once known by the early Colonists to Western Australia as Swan River Mahogany due to its similarity to the better known Mahogany. Now we know it as Jarrah ~ a versatile and unique hardwood renowned throughout the world for its hardness, practical applications and the beauty and richness of the feature and colour tones.
This wonderful rich character of grain and application will make a talking point in your home. As shown here featuring a "wave" style shape to the ends - giving a tactile and interesting feature. Along with the live edge feature pedestal stands making this a real talking point to your home. Consider adding to this the feature of hand forged iron braces at each inside end of the beam ~ giving even more support to the rather weighty table.
