Social Driving School is born & bred on the Sunshine Coast, We have sand between our toes and salt in our hair to prove it. We are locally owned and operated and proud to support and work with our local community. Socials late model Suzuki Swifts have a 5 star ANCAP Safety Rating. Both our manual and automatic vehicles are fitted with duel controls and are fantastic small cars to learn in.
Most students tend to learn with the transmission that their most comfortable with and the transmission they have access to at home. Practising and accruing logbook hours will obviously be considerably easier if you have access to the transmission you are learning on. A manual driver's licence however will allow you to legally drive with either transmission.
We understand that parents are a pivotal cog in the success of their children achieving their license. Logbook hours to fill, time constraints and that nervousness that comes from not having control from the passenger seat. We work with parents every day giving practical advise on how to fill the logbook while maintaining your sanity and relationship with your child.
All Social driver trainers are Qld government accredited. All trainers pass a police check and carry a valid blue card and Australian driver's licence. All lessons include pick up and drop off as part of the price. Sometimes learners want to be picked up at home, and dropped off at school or work or visa versa.

Jason was an excellent instructor. I've had my automatic licence for years but needed to learn manual for the first time and Jason was a godsend! He helped me build my confidence quickly and was very understanding, patient and kind. If you need driving lessons on the Sunshine Coast look no further, I highly recommend him!
