Best place to stay in Spalding. As a hiker I was blown away by the owners willingness to help us out with transport to various locations. Absolutely will come and stay again. Amazing hospitality.

Large rooms, lovingly renovated to reflect a historic country homr, very cosy bed, well equipped kitchen, small garden area to sit out back, or watch life passing by with a cuppa on the front verandah! Friendly service from owner Carol.

This was a really nice place to stay. We had the whole place to ourselves, and it was really quiet. The beds were comfy, and the breakfast was tasty.

My sister-in-law Carolyn owns and runs this excellent retreat. Just the thing to get away from the city for a relaxing weekend. This is another place that cant be judged from outside. It is an old bakery and the inside is quite luxurious with a large lounge, large main bedroom with a sunny annex all with quality furnishings blending the vintage of the rooms. There is a large bathroom and separate toilet, a separate dining room and a second bedroom all fitting with quality and style. A large and very well equipped kitchen with a big table is attached and includes a generous supply of food for breakfast.
It is really like staying in a house where the owner has just left you the run of the place. And what other accommodation

Very comfortable, homely and lots to discover within the house. You could easily stay with 3 families and have plenty of space for yourself. We plan to go back with some friends as a base for a weekend exploring the Clare Valley.
The host was very friendly and accommodating.
