The experience we have had with Metricon so far has been nothing short of atrocious . We have been lied to, deceived, robbed and are continually being hit up for variation after variation. Metricon is a builder with no morals or ethical conduct. They promise you everything at the sales stage and then you find that nothing you had agreed to was put in the contract or plans and that’s when their real game is exposed. They charge 10x the market rate for any slight variation that doesn’t cost them anything, they will charge for items that should be part of the contract, they will continue to delay

I have paid the full amount, but Metricon did not finish the work and refuse to refund anything, and not reply at all.
On the contract, it expects to build 2 storm water system (2 lots), and Metricon replied confirm both finished.
Now the house already email been settled, and I paid full amount. Only when I check with private inspector, can I confirm that there lacks of storm water.
If I did not double check with my inspector, will you just “forget” that forever?
I have asked their team for partial refund, and now for more than 2 months, they just do not reply at all.

Do not build with Metricon. I got bombarded by the sales person called David Booth located in Clyde office. He quickly asked me to put down the deposit of $1000 to secure land and house package. After it was not what I was looking for and asked for the deposit back. Two months now and I still haven’t got my refund yet. I should have trusted all the reviews.

I am having very bad experience from staff members of this Studio M. I was well assisted by the sales team though. I am very disappointed from one of the design team member , Lauren McAllister. I didn't get good assistance and guidance on the Color selections day and never get a response on time. Because of these things my building process being postponed by three months even though my land was vacant, and I am still waiting to get started. I wasted three months mortgage which was because of poor assistance. Rather than giving proper advise and guidance she just wanted to sign on contract. I am

So this is my parents Alfresco area... built by @metriconhomes only 11.5 years ago!! Last Monday morning at 6:43am we heard a loud crash, sounded like the ceiling had collapsed, oh wait- it actually did collapse!!! We could not believe our eyes! The entire ceiling had come down leaving the down lights dangling! We waited till 9am and called #metriconhomes to inform them of what had happened and two days later they sent over a person to clean up the mess (mind you they just cut up the plaster and put it on our front lawn).... on that Friday morning we called Metricon to find out what the next steps

Has been chasing them from 26th February 2019 for a damage that their construction team has done to my fence (next door). It has been 3 months that they are passing me from one department to another and every time I enquire an update, they say we are waiting to have a confirmation from the construction team!
If your construction team is not able to keep up with the complaints they get, I suggest that they slow down from the mass production and attend to fixing the issues that they create.
