Philippe was a joy to work with, right from the first meeting where he listened to my ideas unlike other people I got quotes from. He really does listen and incorporate your ideas into the design. He also politely suggests better design solutions whilst acknowledging that we are the client so if we want something specific he will deliver it. The kitchen is fabulous and I wish I had another kitchen to do right now! He was excellent in keeping costs down when our personal situation changed during the build. I can't recommend him highly enough. Lovely guy too.

I discovered ecocabinets through an internet search for a designer to do a kitchen and bathroom renovation for our small 1960's studio apartment. Philippe was immediately enthusiastic about the project and accommodating to our fixed schedule. Within a week I had two 3-D colour computer sketches to choose from. Philippe took on board my design ideas but made them infinitely better. He always listened to what I said but told me directly if he thought it is not the best idea - and he is right! Philippe started off in Switzerland as a trained chef and has had the privilege of many years experience in a broad variety of leading restaurants Australia-wide. With this experience he is able to add more considered ergonomics and practicality to his projects.
His keen interest in all matters "green" led him to explore the latest Zero Emission, low VOC, recyclable and recyling ideas and he is pleased to be able to bring both high end design and environmental sensitivity to all his creations.

The *final* piece to go into our new home was a wall unit in our main living area, that would function as a craft area as well. My husband builds model ships, and I sew/knit. We like to work on projects while chatting to each other, or with the TV on, but I also wanted to be able to 'hide' everything when not in use, and all this with limited space. Philippe's design was brilliant, and we're ever so pleased with the final result. We have now been in our new home for 6 months, and the 'craft wall' is put to use just about every day.
