Services
When the surgery is closed, please go direct to the Emergency Department at the Warren Health Service. The hospital emergency nurse will assess your medical problem and then phone the on-call doctor if required. For routine appointments or enquiries, please phone (08) 9777 2293 during normal business hours.
Routine appointments are for about 15 minutes. If you have several issues to discuss with the doctor, please let the receptionist know so an extended appointment can be booked. We do cater for urgent medical problems to be seen without a booked appointment. All patients requiring this service are first seen by our practice nurse to triage the priority.
All Pension Concession Card holders, Veteran's Affairs and Health Care Card holders under the age of 16* will be bulk billed. All other Centrelink Health Care Card Holders will be charged at a reduced rate. We require payment on the day of consultation, and can offer you your Medicare refund back instantly using Medicare Easyclaim.
While all attempts are made to contact patients regarding abnormal test results, unfortunately this is not always possible. Please do not assume your test results are normal, if not contacted directly. To obtain your test reults by telephone, contact the surgery and ask to speak with the Practice Nurse.
A simple bowel test could save your life. Screening for cancer means finding early cancer before symptoms develop. Screening does not diagnose cancer - it identifies people who need more tests to find out if cancer is present. Early detection of bowel cancer significantly improves the chances of successful treatment.
