In the late 70s Duggans acquired a concrete batch plant and commenced supplying the local market with quality premixed concrete. Concrete aggregates at this time were purchased from quarries located in Hobart. Because of the long haul from Hobart to Cradoc over the narrow and windy Huon Road, we extended our existing quarry to include the production of quality concrete aggregates.

Duggans provide quarry, concrete, earthworks, precast concrete and civil works services across Southern Tasmania. We've been supplying high quality products from our onsite quarry and delivering great service since 1927. Duggans can provide you with what you need to complete your own projects or work hands on with you to see the job through to the end.
Our civil and earthworks division has a range of plant for your excavation, civil construction and landscaping projects. From tasks such as augering fence post holes, to the construction of a dam, driveway or house site, or land clearing our operators can work to complete a project to specifications and budget, safely and on time.
We regularly upgrade our the quarry facilities to ensure quality products, immediate supply and minimal environmental impact. We ensure all project requirements are met, from the small jobs such as annual driveway topdressing to the larger scale developments requiring everything from the underground drainage to the garden bed dressing.
We deliver quality premix concrete for any application, creating blends for the required finish, from coloured concrete to polished concrete and exposed aggregate finishes. From concrete driveways to house and shed slabs, we can provide large or small quantities to both the private and commercial sector.
Our Precast Division provide a complete service, from assisting with design, production of shop drawings, manufacture of the quality Precast Concrete components to specification and the delivery to site, ready for erection. Precast concrete wall and flooring panels are ideal for large scale developments.
