Cherie and Maureen have been in the hair and beauty business for over 12 years in the Sutherland Shire. That means you'll walk out with the cut, colour and style you were looking for everywhere else. Our salon is located centrally in Gymea Bay Rd, 100 metres from Gymea station and across from Gymea Hotel.
Hayley is amazing. I have blonde hair and find it extremely difficult to find a colourist who will make my highlights close to my hairline and make it last. I explained to her what I was looking for and told her I was pretty particular. She really did a great job. It is blended and beautiful. I originally made my appt.

After walking past zhen several times i decided to give them a go, Im so pleased i did. I booked online which was easy and my colur is perfect ! All the staff were welcoming too .. I will definately be back!

The owner of this salon is so obnoxiously rude I will never ever go back and neither will the friends that I have referred over the years. I feel so sorry for the lovely girls that work there 👎
With regards to your response where you are now backtracking, you were not at all apologetic in fact you inferred it was not your problem and were dismissive about it, albeit in front of your clients and staff. No excuse sorry, you were outright rude and abrasive.

Zhen....THANK YOU for letting me to vent my major hair concerns & allowing me to regain my trust in hairdresser's (after a disaster job elsewhere) I now actually want to look at myself all the time 🤣 it's been 2 days & I still cannot get over how much my hair was able to be transformed. Truly, I cannot thank you all enough, I had a great time being pampered & getting to know the team. Oh and that peppermint tea - yum! Thanks again ladies, see you in 6 weeks. Bel ❤️

Went to Zhen Hair based on reading reviews and seeing a decent number of customers inside getting their hair done. Overall the experience and results were extremely average. My hair was done by two hair dressers, I believe they were managers. I was appalled by their lack of professionalism for example one was obnoxiously singing and grinding on furniture around the salon, whilst the other was giving "love advice" to a fellow employee yet she could not extend her "wisdom" to be able to wash out all the toner so I left with purple stained hair. If I took a shot for each time one of these ladies called

Couldn’t be more happy with the colour and service I got from Zhen studio! I walked in with high hopes of going blonder and the girls met all my expectations! My hairdresser talked me though the process and what it would take to keep my hair healthy with going lighter even taught me how to do the “Instagram wave”

Went to Zhen today for the first time and it won't be my last! Brittany listened to what I wanted and did exactly what I asked. In most other salons I've been to the hairstylist also flits between clients, sometimes leaving one waiting for an hour while working on another client - it didn't happen here! Highly recommend Zhen! All staff were lovely and I will be back. Thank you Zhen!

When I moved to the Shire, I was nervous about needing to find a new hairdresser. I struck it lucky when I found Zhen Hair - Lucie worked magic on my hair, and I'm not sure I've ever felt happier walking out of a salon.
