In 1875 Reed Locksmiths began as the the first locksmith business in Queensland, located in a timber built shop almost on the corner of Elizabeth and Edward Streets in Brisbane. In 1905 the business moved to large premises in Adelaide Street and even larger premises in 1947. H.A. Reed personnel are authorised and licensed under the Queensland Security Providers Act 1993.

Nick came highly recommended and they were not only better priced than every other quote we received but the level of service was spot on. We had to rekey more than 25 internal locks and I didn't even notice they had started the job before they came and told me it was all finished. Great work guys!!

I have purchased safes from H.A. Reed since 2009, first a small one for private and later commercial grade use. While the fist purchase was based on the fact that we just walked past the company’s office, following purchases where based on the great service this company provides.
Prices are very fair, product quality great and the level of service just amazing.
Nick the owner is great to deal with and even drove twice 150km to our location to insure that a safe and special door locks where moved and fixed perfectly.
