Services
We started off with only one Physiotherapist and one Allied Health Assistant. Since that time upgrades have been made to the Beveridge Street facilities, increasing the number of consulting rooms, practitioners and assistants. Mallee Physio has further expanded its practices into 2 other locations; in 2010 we opened in Kerang and Bendigo (trading as Healthy Mates) in 2014.
Greg graduated from La Trobe University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Following university, Greg worked as a sports physiotherapist at the Melbourne Golf Injury Clinic, gaining high level experience with Victorian and Australian Institute of Sport athletes. Greg then moved home to the Mallee, in which he became the Chief Physiotherapist at the Swan Hill District Hospital.
Our highly qualified team of physiotherapists efficiently assess your symptoms to provide an accurate diagnosis. Our team uses advanced techniques and evidence-based care to provide a tailored treatment program, addressing both the symptoms and the underlying cause of your injury or condition. Our physiotherapists will further educate you with strategies to decrease symptoms and the risk of aggravating your condition.
Our facility has a large hydrotherapy pool that is maintained at 34 degrees Celsius. This provides an ideal environment to perform graded exercise programs tailored by our physiotherapist or exercise physiologist. Warmth: The warmth of the water can increase muscle relaxation, relieve joint stiffness, reduce muscle spasms and increase circulation.
Supervised by our qualified physiotherapists and exercise physiologist, our hydrotherapy classes combine our state of the art hydrotherapy facility with our expert staff. Within these sessions, our health professionals can provide tailored exercises using their knowledge of injury/disease rehabilitation, within the comfortable environment of warm water.
