Very disappointing. Very little here except for pub. Accommodation is utterly disgusting. Only meal available is a $60 buffet
There is a bub run buy the same people. The Pub expensive and very limited selection of meals. For a tourist area this is a real real disappointment.
I wouldn't come back. Wish we hadn't come at all.

The whole area is relied on tourism and a lot of the establishments (accommodations, restaurants, cruises, attractions) are related. There aren't a lot in a small town but if you are making a trip to Strahan, be prepared there aren't many choices for different things (due to the remote location of a small town & everything are related).
The staff are friendly. The room is clean & neat but a little worn out. The location is great though as it's 2 doors from the cafe & Tavern, right in front of the water.
But for the price and the quality of the room, it's way over-priced. I admitted it's peak

The location of Strahan Village is perfect and the service was above and beyond. When we checked in we were given a nicer room with a beautiful view of the bay. The restaurant had a lovely buffet, however it was a little pricey. I stupidly forgot my iPad, wallet and a few personal items. We received a call the moment the staff at Strahan Village found our items and they posted everything to us. Nothing was missing. Amazing, kind and responsible people work at Strahan Village. Thank you so much!

Strahan was Beautiful. Fresh but not wet.
Everyone so welcoming and friendly!
The Village is like a spread out Resort withdining areas as part of the accommodation but spread out throughout the Village and can be charged back to your room.
An absolute MUST is to attend the Show The Ship that Never Was. Brilliant, Clever, FUN, Witty... the actors draw you into their story with ease, try to see before you go on the River Cruise.
Thanks Strahan.. we Loved You! ❤

We're staying in very cute waterfront cottage. Fantastic views. The cottage is a little tired but spotless & very comfortable. The windows could do with a clean. It's very close to the River Cruise docks, restaurants, bars & coffee shop. Staff friendly & helpful. Such a pretty village situation highly recommended

This place is so very cute! We found the location fantastic for our Gordon River Cruise and breakfast. Even though the restaurant - View 42 degree was closed the food at the bar was more and adequate and the view is second to none - a lovely place to sit in the afternoon watching the sunset with a very nice vino. We will stay there again if we are ever in Strahan.

Nice accommodation with spectacular view regardless if you are on the hill or by the water. Staff are nice and friendly. Facilities and room are clean and tidy. Unfortunately the fire alarm went faulty and gone off at 4am and then 6am again on our first night. Kinda of ruined that days plan as everyone was tired and sleepy for the day.

We stayed just the one night but would have loved time to stay more.
After reading way too many negative reviews I called the hotel directly with my concerns and the person I spoke with advised me which rooms… were the better presently before the impending renovations planned.
Our room was very good with an outstanding view over the harbor and within a few minutes stroll to cafes, Hamers Pub, the play and the harbor cruise.
The bed in our room was like sleeping on clouds. It was so comfy we definitely struggled to get out of bed!!
Staff were friendly at reception.
