The firm was founded in 1957 by Jaromir (Jerry) Kostka, a gifted Czech migrant who spoke 8 languages. Since 1974 Kostkas has operated from 10 Malabar Court Larrakeyah Darwin. We are independently owned. Professionally we are members of both CPA Australia and the Taxation Institute of Australia. Our two Directors are both registered tax agents.

Our services are based on good sound, general knowledge with the experience to know when a specialist is required. We model ourselves on a traditional GP or General Practice Firm. We are able to offer a wide range of services in house and expect to meet 90% of our client needs in house. In an increasingly complex world where there are significant changes occurring, it is important as professionals to admit when we don't know the answer.
How we work with you is as important as what we do for you. Kostkas does not have a one model fits all approach when it comes to working with our clients. Kostkas understands that different clients have different needs and preferences and we want to be able to cater for these differences.
