In the bush, beside the beach. The Oasis is a secluded retreat, with 9 self-contained cabins, nestled amongst 5-acres of melaleuca rainforest and subtropical gardens with a central billabong. Rest and relax in a beautiful natural setting just minutes from the beach. Nestled in the Tea Tree rainforest and bushland, beside the beach you will find the hidden gem that is The Oasis.
A unique retreat set on 5 acres of native bushland. Come and experience what it's like to get back to nature with cabins set amongst gardens and running water features, including our large pond. Our self-contained cabins are tucked away from the hustle and bustle of cars or people, yet only minutes away from the surrounding beaches and national parks.

Cherrie and Mark are amazing hosts and most helpful. I had the best sleep in years, a/c works fantastic, hot tub beautifuland and relaxing and sparkling clean. The surrounding natural environment was great therapy and location is secluded enough but so close to shopping centres restaurants and the Nelson Bay Marina, I can't wait to return.
Thank you.

I have given them a call 50 times and nobody picked up, you can't give "we were busy" as an excuse as there should be someone at the lobby to pick up the calls. How can you call yourself a vacation destination when there is no one working in your lobby? I have left a voice mail asking for a call back and it has been 2 days, still nothing... It's appalling! I can't imagine a good customer service from this place AT ALL!

Extremely disappointed. The web site depicts a place of luxury, far from it the facilities were aged and worn. The communal area was dirty BBQ did not have a gas bottle. The under cover area was unstable and the steps to it were worn unstable. We will not go back or recommend it to anyone. A place to take your dog, but no running area had to be on a leash.

First off I would like to say the staff at The Oasis were one of a kind. The receptionist was super friendly and could not do enough for us. Management were fantastic. The rooms absolutely spotless. Wow what an atmosphere seeing the wild possums feeding them biscuits, hearing the koalas wow just wow what an experience. The grounds are gorgeous, we are considering it for our wedding next year. Cannot rate this place highly enough. I have had the best 2 days ever I don’t want to leave

The name says it all....
The place is truly an "Oasis" amongst suburbia.
A great place to relax & laze around.
Nicely appointed two story cabins with a bedroom (Queen bed), kitchen, lounge & bathroom downstairs, with a large upstairs open area with a Queen bed & a couple of singles.
A large communal kitchen & & sitting area surrounded by lush vegetation, ponds, walkways a small covered rotunda over the water.
They have a small pool with spas on the back deck of two of the cabins.
The beautiful One Mile beach is only a short walk away, while Anna Bay Tavern is a 5 minute drive with great bistro

Bush/forest setting. Would be great for work retreats etc. Small-ish pool , great camp kitchen facilities, which is very handy as the cabins don’t quite have a fully equipped kitchen.
Great A/C in cabins, wifi is almost non existent, doesn’t reach some cabins. Hosts/managers are great people though .
Easy walk to one mile beach

People were very friendly on arrival but after 12 hours of driving we went to find the pool which we were not told it was not in use. Looked as if it hadn't been used in years. The cabin was great and surrounds but on last day there was a strong smell of sewage wafting through cabins. Don't think I would stay again.
