Mark Lawler Architects work in an open office sharing ideas, exploring possible solutions always seeking design excellence. Mark Lawler studied at the University Of Newcastle and after gaining experience in Sydney and Newcastle, Mark established his own practice. Mark spent an initial 10 years operating his own office and another 10 years in the partnership of Seymour Lawler Architects.

We decided to build a bespoke house as our retirement home. We we are delighted with what Mark Lawler Architects have done for us. From the initial contact to completion the level of detail, responsiveness and clarity have been very professional. We wanted something to live in that is unique and we got it. We have gone from initial design to development of the plans and specifications to supervision of construction. At each stage we’ve been a part of the process and always been in control. This is our second project with Stephen and I have been most impressed with the detail and accuracy of he's drawings. Stephen Coon from MLA helped us to transform our dark 1980s brick house in to a beautiful modern light filled home.
He took us through the whole renovation process from the design stage to the finished product. He was skilled at transforming our ideas in to reality and coming up with innovative solutions when needed.
The project management was excellent so the experience was as stress free as possible. The builders he suggested were excellent with the majority of the building work completed within 6 months, an impressive timeframe considering that we renovated the whole property.
