Situated on the Newell highway which is on route half way between Brisbane & Melbourne, the Alfa Motel Hotel is also an ideal rest stop travelling between Brisbane and Adelaide.

Stayed here overnight on the weekend there was crushed biscuits on the floor at the end of the bed the room was somewhat cleaned and tidy but could do was more attention however room maintenance had not been kept up power points were broken remote control for TV with broken shower head did not let water out very well lights above the bed did not work also there was no coffee mugs or teaspoons inthe room had tea and coffee and had to ask someone from another room for a coffee cup was a little bit disappointed in the motel if had not arrived late that night most likely would have asked for another

It's adequate accommodation at a good price. Not a place for OCD visitors, there were items missing, and the bathroom seemed a bit "unfinished". We saw no evidence of the recent mouse plague. We were quite happy with one night there

Our chosen motel whenever we are passing through Gilgandra. Great value for money. Clean and well provisioned. Comfortable Queen bed. All for only $79 for the night for a couple!

Rooms were very unclean. Even the bedspreads had not been washed in sometime. Airconditioner was so noisy we couldn't sleep but it was too cold without it

Rooms are clean, well-appointed and reasonably priced.
Great location to rest on the way to Sydney.
Internet was not stable all the times, frequent disconnects
North Indian cuisines are reasonably priced except plan roti.
Complimentary starters need a check as the provided biscuit was expired.

Room needs updating and the motel outside appearance needs attending to. More care into servicing the room. Making sure there are enough towels and toiletries per person.
Shower screen had mould build-up.

The room was clean and tidy. We had room service which was delicious home cooked Indian food. The hot water took quite a while to warm up and the shower wasnt very comfortable to use. Very small and wqter

We arrived late and headed out straight away so did not notice the state of our room until we returned after 9pm. The sheets were dirty, towels stained and floor sticky. There were orange marks all over the pillowcases (looked like lipstick) and the coffee cups were horribly stained. The toilet still had the last guests deposits in it and the toilet brush was covered in cobwebs, assuming it hadn't been used in a while).
Not wanting to make a fuss we stayed one night (slept on top of the bed) and left the next day (2 nights booked). Provided feedback to the manager and showed him our concerns.
