I have never been to a pub and felt more like we intruded and we were the only ones there. The older woman that greeted us with "you booked for 1pm" and it was 12.30. I actually asked if she minded us having a drink to which she was very unimpressed!! Another couple came in for lunch & said they felt like they were intruding on the woman! No wonder the pla ever was empty. Our take away impression is that I'm sorry we actually paid for that experience, don't have a pub if you don't want clientele, & we will never recommend anyone to go there. A big thumbs down!

Yummy wholesome food, rack of lamb, amongst other things, to die for and if you're lucky even sell freshly baked sourdough bread 🥰🥰🥰🥰. Visited with a group a while ago when we'd had a major frost overnight and their pipes had burst but they still managed to feed us a scrumptious meal with a smile. Definitely will return.
