It was at a young age when Dr O'Brien (Chiropractor) became interested in chiropractic care. Having to deal with constant back and neck pain following a motorcycle accident in 2001, the discomfort, lack of mobility and not being able to fully enjoy family time with my wife and kids was just becoming too much to bear.
Physio's didn't work and I hate taking pain killers. Considered Irene was my last hope (as opposed to surgery) and after extensively examining my x-rays (4 fractured vertebrae) and a comprehensive examination, Irene took me on believing there could be benefits from her treatment, readjustment etc.
After an initial period of say 3mths of treatment, I am no longer taking pain

I have been seeing Dr Irene now for 4 years. I have struggled with back pain as the result of a gym injury. She has help support me to commence active life again. I used to see Dr Irene fortnightly and her chiropractic support has worked wonders. I now live in Sydney and travel from Sydney to see her when I am working in Brisbane often. Such a great human. Neck injuries from a car crash that I had had 25 years earlier finally surfaced and that, coupled with my recent love of cycling was causing me neck and shoulder grief. I tried rest and good quality physio, however things were getting worse. I had lost all strength in my arm and couldn't sleep. After about 7 months, my neck and right arm pain was completely unbearable, even when taking 2-3 packets of pain killers a week.
