Small Animal Medicine refers to the treatment and diagnosis of smaller animals, such as dogs and cats but also many other species of animals. Our staff is highly trained and experienced in how to care for small animals like dogs and cats, as well as exotic and pocket pets. Working with animals is our passion and we strive to provide the highest level of care possible for your pets.
Dental care is vital to the overall health of any animal. Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. In fact, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.
Here at Ararat Veterinary Clinic, we are very proud to offer grooming services for your pet. We have some highly trained and professional groomers who are great at what they do! We work with a variety of breeds and their cuts but we also do special requests so please talk to one of our groomers today to see how we can help you and your pet!

We know how important each and every cow is to your business so we will do everything that we can to help your cows maintain a happy and healthy life. As a whole, we understand the beef cattle business and it is our goal to ensure successful births and healthy calves.
Behavioral problems can be challenging and frustrating for both pets and pet owners, so it is our goal to work with you towards a solution. There are many behaviors that can be negative or destructive, and many pet owners feel helpless in bringing peace to their home. We want you to know that we are here to help, and that undesirable behaviors can be corrected.
