Services
The pine lined bungalows are warm and spacious, with lots of room for clothes and books and toys - all the usual paraphernalia that children want to bring on holidays! And being able to park undercover right outside the front door makes it easy to get things in and out of your car.
But try keeping the children inside when there's a heated outdoor pool, full size tennis court, free use of canoes in our own canoe lake, and a full size pirate boat and cubby house in the playground!Having your own well equipped kitchen makes for an easy and cheap holiday for families and a free washing machine and a clothes line right outside is a bonus.

Convenient location, was clean, and room had been renovated.
Pool and tennis courts a bonus.
Thought it was overpriced albeit we could only get a family room as a couple.
Worth walking up the rock nextdoor for a good view.
Can see fairy penguins at the street light on the south end of the property (don't need a torch for these as they go through the lit area)

We booked x2 nights accommodation for 8 adults. The Mimosa unit only had a 3 seat couch, not accommodating for the group to relax. The fridge door was broken in parts (sharp - potential to cut yourself), couldn’t stand milk up, crisper broken & another shelf taped together. Unable to watch TV because of its fixed position. Kitchen sink very low, not back friendly. Disappointing. We also had to wash all the plates and bowls when we arrived, dirty :-(

Highly recommend Bicheno by the Bay. We loved our comfortable, modern, well priced bungalow, perfect for couples and families. The area is very quiet during the day and night but is within walking distance of the shops and beach. Pool and BBQ area was great. Ocean views were divine. The staff are super friendly and helpful. What more could you want?!
