After graduating from a BA[Hons] Fine art photography course she completed a 3 year stained glass apprenticeship in Bristol UK. She has since gone on to work in stained glass / leadlight studios in London, Malaysia, New Zealand and Sydney. Always working to the highest standard within all aspects of leadlighting: repairs, new designs, painted glass and fused glass pieces.

Stacey specialises in traditionally painted glass and acid etching which adds extra dimension to a piece. Incorporating photographic images within glass is something that she is currently exploring. She also creates her own beautiful and unique fused glass pieces which you can see for yourself in the Gosford Art Gallery.

While every job Indigo Stained Glass is custom to your needs, there are some common questions and curiosities that we hope the information below can help clear up! If you have any extra queries, feel free to get in touch! All of our windows are custom designed to your specifications. Initially, a quote is provided based on the size of window and design and style you require.
We offer a full leadlight repair and restoration service, ranging from small repairs which can be carried out on site, to full re leading of windows which have significant damage including broken glass, bowing, cracked lead and broken painted pieces.

We have extensive experience working on a range of restoration projects both domestic and ecclesiastic including restoring 24 badly bowing windows in Gosford Uniting Church and work on domestic projects in Concord West, Brighton le Sands and Neutral Bay, Sydney.
Here at Indigo, we understand that life happens and small accidents can damage the little details of your home. If just 1 or 2 pieces of glass in your existing stained glass or leadlight windows are broken and the lead is still in good condition we may be able to repair on site. Please enquire and if possible send photos so I can determine if this is an option for you and your home.
If made well, stained glass or leadlight can last for centuries, however when positioned in doors or opening windows or near the coast they can deteriorate, the lead can oxidise and become compromised, leadlight cement may start to crack and cause the window to leak in storms.

Windows and doors built early last century such as Federation or Art Deco windows will need to be restored around now if lead is showing signs of bowing or if the window has become rattly. We have years of experience in restoring these windows and doors, the panels are removed by a licensed glazier and temporary glazing is installed.

I really enjoyed the process of discussing ideas for our beautiful sidelight panel with Stacey and she really helped me figure out what I wanted and beautifully translated that into a harmonious artwork that is a stunning original feature as we enter out home. I was nervous before I contacted her that I'd feel pressured into getting something that wasn't my taste but I found Stacey listened to what I had in mind and came up with ideas that were better than what I could have imagined. She is a passionate artist with an eye for colour matching and textures with different glass and very easy and personable
